• Work with Creative Director and Editorial Team to design and enhance the quality of publications
• To be part of the team designing for Cuisine & Wine Asia and other publishing collaterals and materials
• Liaise with colour separator and printers

Requirements:
• Diploma holder / graphics design equivalent
• Proficiency in Macintosh desktop publishing applications; in-design; PageMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop,
• One or two years of relevant DTP experience in magazine production is an advantage
• Self-motivated, team player, committed to deadlines and results-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines / tasks at the same time
• Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Advertising agency experience would be an advantage
• Able to start work immediately or on short notice

Responsibilities:

• Assist Account in AR function (invoicing, reconciliation, verification of data)

• AP Function (Verification of document, coding of accounts)

• GL – Support in management report

• Assist in other administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as and when required

• Knowledge of accounting package is advantageous

Requirements:

•Diploma in Accountancy or LCCI , partial set of accounts / full set of reconciliations.

•Strong skills in MS applications, particularly, Microsoft Excel is a must.

•Mature with good communication skills.

•Proficient in English language.

•Committed, meticulous, detailed and organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision

•Self starter, hands-on and self-motivated.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Part-time ushers are required to perform a variety of duties for
film screenings, workshops, lectures and performances at the
National Museum's event spaces, under supervision of the House
Manager or Theatre Operations Manager.

Duties include:
(These examples do not include all the duties which may be assigned;
any one position may not include all the duties listed.)
- Greeting and directing visitors/patrons; provides information and
assistance in routine and emergency situations; distributes programs.
- Assist in auditorium and lobby preparation for events.
- Adhere to the National Museum's policies and procedures, performs
related duties as required.

We need someone who is able to:
- work varying hours;
- remain calm in stressful situations;
- stand for extended periods of time;
- exercise good judgment, courtesy and tact with staff and the
public; present a clean, neat appearance;
- utilise good customer service skills and techniques.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Experience:
Any combination of experience or training that would provide the
required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Education:
Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to provide a referral
letter if under 18 and have not completed 'O' levels or the
equivalent.

INTERVIEW AND TRAINING:
Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview,
followed by an unpaid half-day orientation and basic training
programme in February 2009 before booking for any events.
